Graduating in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, Bella completed her diploma in Remedial Massage in 2024 to add to her skill set. This combination of studies allows for a comprehensive understanding of the body and how to effectively prevent and manage injuries, especially in sports settings.
Beginning her journey in the first year of university, Bella worked as a sports trainer for local AFL clubs, which ignited a passion for sports and injury management, leading to roles with multiple clubs in the PFL since 2020 and a recent transition to the WAFL in 2023. Bella has been an integral part of the West Perth Football Clubs medical team for the past 3 seasons, collaborating closely with Strength and Conditioning teams, physiotherapists and the club to enhance athlete performance through massage, taping and first aid. Bella’s inspiration to pursue remedial massage arose from a desire to better support athletes in their recovery post-game or post-injury.
Bella has experience in working with participants and athletes who competed in the 2024 HBF run for a reason, Tour of Margaret River and Busselton Ironman. She also works as a remedial therapist for the Fremantle Dockers and a massage clinic south of the river. Bella is qualified in providing Relaxation, Remedial, Sports and Pregnancy Massage as well as Myofascial Cupping.
